Qualifier: Shot 73-68--141 at Hackensack Golf Club, in Oradell, N.J., on May 6
The LPGA Tour veteran is set to make her sixth U.S. Women's Open start, but first since the all-exempt field (COVID-19) in 2020. Lee5 earned her place in the field by sharing medalist honors with 16-year-old amateur Rayee Feng at Hackensack Golf Club, carding 3-under 141. Lee puts a number by her last name because there are several players from the Republic of Korea with a similar name, including Jeongeun Lee6, the 2019 U.S. Women's Open champion. While she has yet to record a victory in America, she does own five victories on the Korean LPGA Tour. Her best LPGA Tour finish is a tie for second in the 2021 Cambia Portland Classic in Oregon. In 2024, she finished 95th on the LPGA Tour money list, making 14 of 24 cuts.
