Qualifier: Shot 73-68--141 at New Albany (Ohio) Country Club on May 1

The Ohio State University junior from New Albany, Ohio, will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after earning medalist honors at New Albany Country Club. She posted a 36-hole total of 3-under-par 141 on a course where her father, Paul, is a PGA professional. Hollenbaugh, one of the top 20 players in the Women's World Amateur Golf Ranking, has enjoyed a breakout season for the Buckeyes, posting four wins and finishing runner-up in the Big 10 Conference Championship. She also won this year's South Atlantic Ladies Amateur (SALLY) and reached the Round of 16 in the 2024 Women's Western Amateur. Hollenbaugh and partner Anna Ritter, who was a high school teammate before moving on to the University of Illinois, reached the semifinals of the 2022 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball in Puerto Rico. Hollenbaugh also was a standout tennis player in high school. As a golfer, she helped New Albany High to four state team titles.
