The German professional will make her second U.S. Women's Open start after earning medalist honors in the Atlanta, Ga., qualifier at Druid Hills Golf Club, shooting 9-under 135. Hausmann previously missed the cut in 2018 at Shoal Creek as an amateur. She turned professional in 2019 after a four-year college career at the University of Idaho, earning status on both the Symetra Tour (now Epson Tour) and Ladies European Tour. Her lone victory to date came on the Symetra Tour in the 2021 IOA Championship in California. She also posted a solo fourth-place finish in the Magical Kenya Ladies Open in 2022. Hausman represented Germany in the 2016 and 2018 Women's World Amateur Team Championship. Hausmann won the Big Sky Conference title in both 2016 and 2018, and was that conference's Player of the Year her junior and senior seasons (2018, 2019). She also won the 2016 German International Amateur.
