The Michigan State senior from Wildwood, Mo., will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after earning medalist honors at the Belleville, Il., qualifier conducted at St. Clair Country Club. Biermann posted a 36-hole total of 1-over-par 143. She posted five top-10 finishes during the 2024-25 campaign, including solo fourth in the Big Ten Championship. Biermann won the 2024 Missouri Women's Amateur, which earned her a spot in the U.S. Women's Amateur, where she fell in a playoff for the final match-play spots. In 2024, Biermann captured the NCAA Palm Beach (Fla.) Regional individual title. She also won the Briar's Creek Invitational. This will be her second start with LPGA Tour professionals as she competed in the 2023 Meijer LPGA Classic on a sponsor's exemption (missed cut). In 2022, she advanced to the semifinals of the Women's Western Amateur and qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur at Chambers Bay. In 2020, Biermann was a first-team American Junior Golf Association All-American.
