Qualifier: Shot 73-70--143 at Springfield (Va.) Country Club on April 30

The University of Maryland junior from Thailand survived a 3-for-2 playoff to earn her first U.S. Women's Open start. Kanpai tied Katie Li and Angelina Tolentino at 1-over-par 143 at Springfield (Va.) Country Club, with Tolentino being the odd woman out. Kanpai was an All-Big Ten selection in each of her first three seasons in College Park. This season, she earned an individual spot in the NCAA Charlottesville (Va.) Regional. It's her third trip to regionals. She posted four top-10 finishes in 2024-25, including a win at the Cougar Classic. She's also won in her native Thailand as she captured the 2023 SAT-NSDF Ladies Open on the Thai LPGA Tour.
