The fomer Sam Houston State standout will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after posting a 36-hole total of 3-under-par 141 at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club. In 2021, Alberto was named the Southland Conference's Player of the Year after helping the Bearkats to the team title and tying for individual honors with Jennifer Herbst (now Elliott), who was the medalist at the qualifying site. Alberto also competed in the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur in 2019. Alberto also competed in the all-exempt 2020 U.S. Women's Amateur. She claimed the 2020 Texas Women's Amateur. She turned pro in 2021.
