Williams will make her third U.S. Women's Open start, but first as a professional after surviving a 2-for-1 playoff at Lost Tree Club, in North Palm Beach, Fla., on May 9. Williams tied amateur Mackenzie Tyler at 2-over 146 and garnered the second and final available start. The Boca Raton, Fla., resident qualified for borh the 2017 and 2018 U.S. Women's Opens prior to graduating high school in 2019. In 2017, Williams won the Florida Four-Ball with partner Elle Nachmann. She also was the low amateur in the 2018 Florida Women's Open. Williams lost in the Round of 64 of the 2018 U.S. Girls' Junior.
