The left-hander from Switzerland will compete in her second U.S. Women's Open after being added to the field on May 14. She was the first alternate from the Milan, Italy, qualifier, where she posted a 5-under score of 139. The former Florida State University golfer turned professional in 2018, and has competed on the Epson Tour, Ladies European Access Tour and Ladies European Tour. She has yet to produce a victory. As an LET rookie in 2020, she placed third in the VP Swiss Ladies Open in front of her home-country fans. She also competed in the COVID-19-delayed 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo as a last-minute replacement when sister, Morgan, and South African Ashleigh Buhai withdrew. In 2022, she finished second in the Joburg Ladies Open, five strokes back of Linn Grant. That same year, she finished three strokes back of sister Morgan in the Ladies Italian Open. As an amateur, Metraux represented Switzerland in the 2014 and 2016 Women's World Amateur Team Championships.
