Qualifier: Shot 72-70--142 at Soboda Springs Golf Course, in San Jacinto, Calif., on April 21
Fall (nee Finkelstein), will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after getting the last spot in the field via the allotment list. She had won a playoff for first-alternate status from her Southern California qualifying site on April 21. Finkelstein has bounced between the Epson Tour and LPGA Tour since turning professional a decade ago following a decorated collegiate career at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. The Chandler, Ariz., native joined current LPGA Tour player Jodi Ewart Shadoff as the only golfers to win Mountain West Conference Golfer of the Year honors three times. Ewart did it at the University of New Mexico. Fall won three events on the Arizona-based Cactus Tour in 2015 before registering her lone Epson Tour win a year later at the Garden City Charity Classic at Buffalo Dunes, in Kansas. A year ago, she made 13 of 15 cuts on the Epson Tour and two additional starts on the LPGA Tour.
