Chances Coming Early at Pebble Beach on Saturday
It’s Moving Day at the 78th U.S. Women’s Open, and for those looking to make an early jump up the leader board, the chance to do so will come early in Round 3 at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Holes 2, 4, 6 and 7 are playing the easiest this Saturday. In fact, all three are playing under par among the early groups. The par-5 second has been shortened to 466 yards, and amateur Amari Avery and 2021 champion Yuka Saso – grouped together for Round 3 – both made eagles. No. 2 is the easiest on the course at 4.42, followed by the 305-yard fourth (3.81), the 505-yard, par-5 sixth (4.82) and 99-yard, par-3 seventh (2.85).
