Iconic Pebble Beach Ready for First Women’s Major Championship
Few layouts in the world are as iconic and breathtaking as Pebble Beach Golf Links. It’s often referred to as the greatest meeting of land and sea. But until now, only the men have had the opportunity to contest major championships at this seaside wonderland. Six U.S. Opens and one PGA Championship are a part of Pebble’s history. In July, the women finally get take the stage as the 78th U.S. Women’s Open comes to the Monterey Peninsula.
One deserving player will walk away with a $2 million first-place check and the honor of saying she won at Pebble Beach.
