USGA Unveils Digital Experience Lineup for 81st U.S. Women's Open Presented by Ally
The USGA today announced a comprehensive suite of digital offerings for the 81st U.S. Women's Open Presented by Ally, giving fans around the world new ways to follow every shot, every round and every player at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., June 4-7.
“We want every fan, wherever they are, to feel the weight of what happens at Riviera this week,” said Jon Podany, chief championships officer, USGA. “We’re excited to provide a more personalized experience and enhanced ways to showcase every player in the field along with better demonstrating how they are playing the famed Riviera course.”
USGA App Built by Deloitte
The USGA App is the championship's all-in-one digital home, and this year it gets its most significant upgrade yet. The new "Your U.S. Women's Open" feature delivers a personalized feed of insights and highlights based on fans' favorite players. A reimagined statistics hub pairs player and course data with powerful visuals, and a redesigned tee-time display makes it easier than ever to plan your day. For the first time, every player in the field will receive an AI-generated round recap in their player profile within minutes of signing their scorecard — ensuring no player goes without coverage. Fans can also dive into USGA history through Video Central and follow the live leaderboard directly from their iPhone lock screen via Live Activities. Available on iOS, iPad, and Android.
RangeCast Presented by T-Mobile
In a first for women's golf, fans can now follow players onto the practice range. RangeCast presented by the USGA’s Official 5G Network Partner, T-Mobile — available on usga.org and the USGA App — delivers live and on-demand access to players' range sessions from the T-Mobile Range, including full shot trails, ball-flight data, total shots hit and championship statistics. It's the debut of fully immersive 3D shot tracking on the range at a women's golf championship, offering a window into how the world's best players prepare to compete at Riviera.
ShotCast Powered by Cisco
Every shot. Every player. Every round. ShotCast powered by Cisco returns with its next-generation digital experience, leveraging PGA Tour ShotLink technology to deliver dynamic shot trails, radar data, 3D hole imagery, green views, AI-powered shot commentary and video highlights — all available live or on-demand on the app and at uswomensopen.com.
USGA Fantasy Flip Presented by Ally
This free-to-play fantasy game will offer fans the chance to be invested in the action. Fans will be able to build their own team by opening packs of player cards on the USGA app. Fans then will root for the players on their fantasy team and will score points according to their player’s outcome performance on the course. This game will be available during all eight broadcasted USGA championships, starting with the U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally, and will offer fans the chance to win great prizes throughout the season, including a season-long grand prize trip to the 2027 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.
Live Streaming Presented by American Express
More than 10 hours of free featured groups coverage per day will be available for all four rounds on uswomensopen.com and the USGA App, presented by American Express. Two featured groups will be streamed simultaneously each day, spanning both morning and afternoon waves.
Enhanced NBC Broadcast Coverage
NBC and Versant’s presentation of the U.S. Women's Open spans NBC, USA Network and Peacock/NBCSN, with 26 hours of live broadcast coverage, including six hours on NBC network over the weekend and East Coast primetime viewing each day. The broadcast will be enhanced by a limited interruption model of four minutes/hour of commercial load and will continue to feature Rolex’s daily commercial-free Rolex Hour.
For the second consecutive year, Emmy Award-winning Drone Tracing technology will be part of the broadcast — first introduced at a women's golf event in last year’s U.S. Women’s Open, it delivers real-time visual tracking of shots from a bird's-eye perspective unlike anything else in golf coverage. In addition to the drone tracing technology, and new this year, will be the predictive trace technology, debuting in a women’s golf event for the very first time. Expanded featured group coverage — two morning and two afternoon groups, Thursday through Sunday — is also available on the USGA App, uswomensopen.com, Peacock, DirecTV, and YouTube TV.
Golf Channel’s “Live From the U.S. Women’s Open”
Golf Channel's surrounding coverage begins Tuesday, June 2, with nearly 19 hours of live studio programming from "Golf Central's Live From the U.S. Women's Open." An exclusive one-hour "Live From" special airs on USA Network on Saturday, June 6, from 4-5 p.m. ET, leading directly into third-round coverage.
