Green, a member of the 2024 USA Curts Cup Team and former standout at the University of South Florida, qualified for her second U.S. Women's Open, but first as a professional after posting 8-under 136 at Shanopin Country Club, in Pittsburgh, on May 5. Green fired a 7-under 65 in the afternoon round to best the field by six strokes, and garner the lone available spot. In 2024, Green became the first American in 28 years to win The Amateur Championship at Portmarnock, in the Republic of Ireland. She concluded her amateur career by representing the USA in the Curtis Cup Match at Sunningdale Since turning pro in the fall of 2024, Green registered a pair of Epson Tour wins in 2025: the Island Resort Championship and Guardian Championship. Those wins enabled the Medina, N.Y., native to win the Race to the Card as well as collect Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors. The 2026 LPGA Tour rookie has produced a pair of T-9 finishes in 2026.
