Francisco, the 2026 Southeastern Conference champion for the University of Florida, will make her U.S. Women's Open debut, thanks to posting a 2-under-par 140 at Wildnerness Country Club, in Naples, Fla., on May 6. Francisco, ranked just inside the top 30 of the World Amateur Golf Ranking, has enjoyed a stellar 2025-26 junior season for the Gators. Besides the SEC title, she won the Gator Invitational, was the runner-up in the Sea Best Intercollegiate, placed solo third in the Clemson Invitational and tied for eighth in The Ally. She will represent the International Team in the upcoming Palmer Cup in the Republic of Ireland. Last summer, she advanced to the quarterfinals of The Amateur Championship. As a sophomore, she was the runner-up in the NCAA Charlottesville (Va.) Regional. In 2024, she tied for third in the Spanish Amateur, and finished fourth in the World University Golf Championship in Finland.
