Lee, who was born in the Republic of Korea but now resides in British Columbia, Canada, will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after garnering the one available spot at The Vancouver Golf Club, in Coquitlan, B.C., Canada. The 2026 University of Texas signee posted a 1-over-par total of 145 in the 36-hole qualifier. Lee competed in the 2025 U.S. Girls' Junior, but did not qualify for match play. Lee won the 2024 and 2025 British Columbia Amateur titles, and recently claimed the 2026 American Junior Golf Association Junior at Rayburn Resort. She also was a semifinalist in the 2025 Pacific Northwest Junior Girls' Amateur and won the 2024 British Columbia Junior.
