Lopez owns a trio of LPGA Tour victories, the last coming in the 2022 Dana Open by a stroke over Megan Khang. Her maiden title came in the 2018 Blue Bay LPGA. Lopez represented Mexico in the 2016 and 2021 Olympics, finishing 31st in Rio de Janeiro and T-36 in Tokyo, respectively. As an amateur, Lopez finished as the runner-up in the 2015 NCAA Championships while representing the University of Arkansas. She won three collegiate events for the Razorbacks, and she twice represented Mexico in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championships (2010, 2014). This will be her 12th U.S. Women's Open start. Her best finish in a major is a share of ninth in the 2020 KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
