S-19: Deferred exemptions under the USGA Championships Family Policy

Lee will make her 11th U.S. Women’s Open start – and eighth as a professional – after being among the top 75 of the Rolex Women's Rankings on March 24 of 2025. She deferred the exemption until 2026 after giving birth to her first child. While Lee is still seeking her first LPGA Tour title, she does own a pair of victories on the Ladies European Tour, including the 2023 Aramco Team Series event in Saudi Arabia. As an LPGA Tour rookie, Lee was selected to the 2015 U.S. Solheim Cup Team, and she made a return appearance in 2024. In 2014, Lee, a former standout at UCLA, won the Annika Award as the top college player and claimed the Pacific-12 Conference title. That summer, she helped the 2014 USA Curtis Cup Team retain the cup and won the North & South Women’s Amateur at Pinehurst. Lee also represented her country in the 2014 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship. In 2012, she was the runner-up to Minjee Lee (no relation) in her sixth and final U.S. Girls’ Junior. The Valencia, Calif., native also lost in the semifinals of the 2013 U.S. Women’s Amateur to eventual champion Emma Talley. Lee tied for 26th in her first U.S. Women’s Open in 2009 at Saucon Valley C.C. at the age of 14.
