S-11: Winners of individual LPGA Tour co-sponsored events from the conclusion of the 2025 U.S. Women's Open to the initiation of the 2026 championship
Kim registered her first major title in dramatic fashion when she outdueled world No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul in a playoff to win the 2025 Amundi Evian Championship. The Australian ripped a 4-hybrid to a foot for a tap-in eagle to force the playoff, then holed out a pitch shot for birdie after finding the penalty area on her second shot on the par-5 18th hole on the second playoff hole to beat Thitikul. In just her third start on the LPGA Tour, Kim claimed the 2023 LOTTE Championship in Hawaii. Kim birdied the first playoff hole to defeat Yu Liu and Yu Jin Sung. Kim birdied Nos. 17 and 18 in the final round to get into the playoff. The Australian made 15 of 19 cuts on the Epson Tour in 2022 to finish fifth on the money list and gain her LPGA Tour card for the 2023 season. Her season included a victory in the IOA Golf Classic. Kim now owns seven worldwide professional victories. As an amateur, Kim was a four-time recipient of the Karrie Webb Scholarship, which allows up-and-coming female amateurs the opportunity to travel to the United States and witness major championships while being mentored by the two-time U.S. Women's Open champion and World Golf Hall of Fame inductee. In 2021, Kim advanced to the Round of 32 of the U.S. Women's Amateur at Westchester Country Club in Rye, N.Y., losing to Rachel Heck. She also reached the Round of 16 of the 2019 U.S. Girls' Junior, where she lost in 21 holes to future Stanford standout Brooke Seay. Kim represented Australia in the 2018 Women's World Amateur Team Championship, the same year she captured individual gold in the Youth Olympics.
