Bio

Furue will make her fourth U.S. Women's Open start after posting a tie for sixth in the 2023 U.S. Women's Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links. In 2022, Furue claimed her first LPGA Tour title at the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open. Her eight other professional victories have come on the LPGA Tour of Japan. A week before the 2022 U.S. Women's Open, Furue lost in the championship match of the LPGA Bank of Hope Match Play to 2009 U.S. Women's Open champion Eun-Hee Ji.
