S-7: Winner of 2023 KPMG Women's PGA Championship
S-10: Top 30 points leaders in LPGA Tour's 2023 Race to the CME Globe
S-17: Top 75 points leaders in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings as of April 3
Yin became the second player from the People's Republic of China to win a major championship, following the recently retired Shanshan Feng, when she captured the 2023 KPMG Women's PGA Championship by one stroke over 2021 U.S. Women's Open champion Yuka Saso at Baltusrol Golf Club. This came on the heels of her first LPGA Tour win by one stroke over Georgia Hall at the DIO Implant LA Open in April. That victory earned the second-year LPGA Tour player an exemption into the U.S. Women's Open. Previously, Yin had won her first three starts on the China LPGA Tour in 2020, a record for that circuit. Yin earned her LPGA Tour card by tying for third at the Q-Series in the fall of 2021.
