Qualifier: Shot 72-71 at Somerset Country Club, in Mendota Heights, Minn., on May 7

The former Duke University All-American got into her second U.S. Women's Open when medalist Anna Huang became exempt by being among the top 75 point leaders in the Rolex Rankings on May 25. Boonchant got her qualifying spot by virtue of being the first alternate. Boonchant, who has played both the LPGA Tour and Epson Tour, won the 2022 Epson Tour Championship and posted three other top-10 finishes before tying for 21st at the LPGA Tour's Q-Series to earn her card for the 2023 season. Her first professional victory came in the 2021 BGC Thailand LPGA Masters. In February 2026, she won the Indonesia Women's Open on the Ladies Asian Tour, and she captured the 2026 E1  Charity Open on the Korean LPGA Tour. Boonchant was a four-time All-American at Duke, helping the Blue Devils win the 2019 NCAA title. She represented the International Team in the 2018 Palmer Cup.
