Weber qualified for her second U.S. Women's Open by shooting 6-under-par 136 to earn medalist honors at Essex County Country Club, in West Orange, N.J., on May 11. The native of The Netherlands has bounced between the Epson Tour and LPGA Tour after playing collegiately at the University of Miami (Fla.). She still is seeking her first professional win. As an amateur, Weber lost in the title match of the 2016 British Ladies Amateur to Julia Engstrom, of Sweden, in 19 holes. She also was the runner-up to Duke's Virginia Elena Carta in the 2016 NCAA Championship at Eugene (Ore.) Country Club. She represented The Netherlands in the 2014 and 2016 Women's World Amateur Team Championships, and the International side in the 2018 Palmer Cup.
