Donegan will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after shooting 3-over-par 145 at a 36-hole qualifier on June 5 in San Mateo, Calif. Donegan transferred to Louisiana State University from Indiana University in the fall of 2022. She spent one season in Bloomington, Ind., posting one win and another top-5 finish. In her first season in Baton Rouge, she earned second-team All-SEC honors and posted a 72.33 stroke average. She had three top-10 finishes for the Tigers. A native of the Republic of Ireland, Donegan advanced to match play in the British Girls Championship conducted by The R&A in 2018 and 2019. She represented Ireland in the 2019 World Girls Junior Championship and Spirit International.
