Sluman (nee Restrepo) will become the first native of Panama to play in a U.S. Women's Open after earning medalist honors at The Club at Admiral's Cove (North/West Courses) with a 36-hole total of 6-under 136. Restrepo owns one professional victory, the 2019 Guardian Classic on the Epson Tour. In 2022, she got engaged to fellow professional Trevor Sluman during a practice round at the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. Sluman is the nephew of major champion Jeff Sluman. The two met while both were competing at the University of Louisville. The two have since married.
