S-14: Winner of 2024 Mark H. McCormack Medal (leading amateur in Women's Amateur Golf Ranking)

The Florida State junior will make her second U.S. Women's Open start after winning the 2024 Mark H. McCormack Medal for being the leading amateur in the Women's World Amateur Golf Ranking following the U.S. Women's Amateur. In 2024, Woad won the Augusta National Women's Amateur to earn a start at Lancaster (Pa.) Country Club. She converted birdie putts on Nos. 17 and 18 to post a one-stroke victory over Bailey Shoemaker. Woad, the 2022 R&A Girls' Junior champion, went on to help Great Britain & Ireland reclaim the Curtis Cup in September at Sunningdale Golf Club in England. She represented England in the 2022 and 2023 Women's World Amateur Team Championships in France and the United Arab Emirates, respectively, and was also on the International side for the 2023 Palmer Cup. Besides the Girls' Junior victory, Woad also claimed the 2021 Welsh Women's Open Stroke Play. Woad was the Atlantic Coast Conference's Freshman of the Year for the 2022-23 season, and a 2023 and 2024 Women's Golf Coaches Association first-team All-American.
