Qualifier: Shot 71-81--152 at Sunset Country Club in St. Louis, Mo., on May 8

Brown, who will play for Purdue University this fall, will tee it up in her first U.S. Women's Open after garnering the one available spot at Sunset Country Club in St. Louis. The 36-hole qualifier lasted two days due to weather issues. Brown, who hails from Westfield, Ind., won the Indiana state high school title this past fall. In fact, she captured 24 of the 48 high school tournaments she competed in during her career at Westfield High. Along with her state title, Brown claimed four conference championships and three regional titles. She also won the Indiana Junior PGA Championship by nine strokes at Purdue's Ackerman-Allen Course and the Indiana Girls Junior title. Brown was the runner-up in the 2023 Indiana State Open, and tied for third in the Pete and Alice Dye Junior Invitational. Brown also is the great-granddaughter of 1959 PGA champion Bob Rosburg. Rosburg also was the runner-up to Billy Casper in the 1959 U.S. Open at Winged Foot and later became an on-course golf reporter at ABC.
