S-2: Top 10 scorers and ties from the 2025 U.S. Women's Open
S-10: Top 30 point leaders in the 2025 LPGA Tour's Race to the CME Globe
The 23-year-old enjoyed quite a U.S. Women's Open and major-championship debut at Lancaster (Pa.) Country by tying for ninth to earn an exemption into the 2025 championship. She followed that performance up by sharing second with Nelly Korda in the 2025 championship at Erin Hills. Takeda won the 2024 TOTO Japan Classic in a six-hole playoff over Marina Alex for her maiden LPGA Tour victory (co-sanctioned with LPGA Tour of Japan) and then added the 2025 Blue Bay LPGA in the People's Republic of China by six strokes over Minjee Lee. Three victories and two runner-up showings in 2024 on the LPGA Tour of Japan vaulted Takeda up the Rolex Rankings. She also owns eight LPGA Tour of Japan victories. Her mother, Satoka, is a former professional golfer, and her aunt, Mayumi Hirase, posted 18 victories on the LPGA Tour of Japan, and another on the LPGA Tour in 1996.
