Guseva will make her second consecutive start in the U.S. Women's Open after tying for 35th at Erin Hills. A strong rookie season in 2024 on the LPGA Tour earned Guseva enough points to finish 26th on the 2024 Race to the CME Globe. That enabled the former University of Miami (Fla.) standout an exemption into her first U.S. Women's Open. Guseva was the runner-up to Moriya Jutanugarn at the Portland Classic and to A Lim Kim in the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii. Her lone professional victory to date is the 2023 Black Desert Resort Championship on the Epson Tour. Guseva won the 2022 Women's Eastern Amateur and the 2019 Austrian International Amateur. At Miami, she was named the 2020-2021 Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman of the Year, despite enrolling in January. She turned professional after her sophomore campaign in Coral Gables.
