S-12: Winner of 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur

The talented University of Arkansas junior will make her second consecutive U.S. Women's Open start after posting a four-stroke victory in the 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur in early April. This big title came after the diminutive Colombian claimed the 2025 NCAA Division I title with a 12-under total of 276, a victory that earned Marin a tee time at Erin Hills, where she finished 55th. Marin became the third Razorback to win a NCAA title, following Stacy Lewis (2007) and Maria Fassi (2019). Marin, the 2025 Women's Amateur Latin America champion, was the stroke-play medalist in the 2024 U.S. Women's Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club, in Tulsa, Okla., and advanced to the semifinals before losing to Asterisk Talley. She also reached the semifinals of the 2022 U.S. Girls' Junior at The Club at Olde Stone, in Bowling Green, Ky. Marin was a 2024 and 2025 first-team All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches of America. In 2024 and 2025, she represented the International Team in the Palmer Cup. Although born in Mexico, Marin represents Colombia. In 2025, Marin won the South America Women's Amateur as well as the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic. She also was the runner-up in the NCAA Columbus (Ohio) Regional. In the fall portion of the 2024-2025 college season, Marin won Arkansas' home event, The Blessings Collegiate Invitational. She also won the 2024 Colombian Open. As an Arkansas freshman, she finished fourth in the NCAA Championship.
