The Stanford University sophomore became the third amateur from Spain to earn a spot in the 2025 U.S. Women's Open, joining 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur champion Carla Bernat Escuder and Carolina Lopez-Chacarra. Martin Sampredo posted 2-under 140 at The Olympic Club, in San Francisco to earn the third and final qualifying spot. In 2024, she was named the Pacific-12 Conference Player of the Year and helped the Cardinal claim the conference and NCAA team titles. She finished third individually in the 2024 NCAAs. She also was named the WGCA Freshman of the Year and was a consensus first-team All-American. As a sophomore, she has posted a pair of victories and a stroke average of 70.24 going into postseason play. She advanced to match play in the 2024 U.S. Women's Amateur, and the Round of 16 in the Women's Amateur Championship conducted by The R&A. She also represented the International Team in the 2024 Palmer Cup. Martin Sampedro also made the 36-hole cut in each of the last two Augusta National Women's Amateurs.
