Hwang will make her second U.S. Women's Open start after registering her maiden LPGA Tour win at the 2025 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei in Hawaii. Since turning professional in 2022, Hwang has posted two wins on the Korean LPGA Tour and another on the Taiwan LPGA Tour. She also has six runner-up finishes on the KLPGA.
