The Thai native will make her second consecutive U.S. Women's Open start after surviving a 3-for-2 playoff at Cross Timbers Golf Course, in Azle, Texas, on May 13. Lertsadwattana posted 7-under-par 137 to tie Pauline del Rosario and amateur Asia Young before advancing. Lertsadwattana began her college career at the University of New Mexico before transferring to the University of Georgia for her super senior season. During her four years in Albuquerque, she posted a trio of victories, including the 2023 Mountain West Conference individual title. She also was the 2020 Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year. She led Georgia to the title match of the Southeastern Conference Championship, thanks to a victory over Auburn standout Casey Weidenfeld. She turned professional in 2024 and currently competes on the Epson Tour. She has made the 36-hole cut in all six of her Epson Tour events in 2026, with a best finish of T-12 at the IOA Golf Classic.
