Bio

The 16-year-old Canadian from British Columbia turned pro last December after successfully navigating Ladies European Tour Q-School. This will be her first U.S. Women's Open after she posted a 36-hole score of 1-under 143 at New Albany (Ohio) Country Club. Huang is a member of Team Canada's Next Gen squad. Huang tied for 11th in the 2022 Joburg Ladies Open in South Africa, and tied for 16th in the Australian Women's Classic. In 2024, Huang advanced to the Round of 32 of the U.S. Women's Amateur, losing to eventual champion Rianne Malixi, 2 and 1, after opening with a 1-up win over Carla Bernat Escuder, who won the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur. She also tied for second in the American Junior Golf Association's Mizuho Americas Open at Liberty National G.C., where juniors play alongside LPGA Tour players. She also helped Canada captured the 2023 World Junior Girls Championship. She tied for seventh in the 2024 Canadian Women's Amateur.
