S-1: Winner of 2017 U.S. Women's Open Championship
S-7: Winner of 2018 KPMG Women's PGA Championship
Park shook off the disappointment of hitting her ball in the penalty area on the 72nd hole of the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open to win the championship the following year at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., by two strokes over amateur Hye-Jin Choi. It was the first of seven victories for Park on the LPGA Tour. From 2014 to 2016, Park registered 10 victories on the LPGA Tour of Korea. A year after winning the U.S. Women’s Open, the long-hitting Park claimed the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Park briefly held the No. 1 spot in the Rolex Rankings in 2017 and regained the top spot with her win in the 2018 Indy Women in Tech Championship. Park finished the 2018 season third on the LPGA Tour money list.
