Winners Chosen for 2025 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally Poster Design Contest

Three juniors from around the country have been chosen as winners of the Youth Poster Design Contest for the 80th U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally at Erin Hills, which will be contested May 29 – June 1.

“This contest is a great way to engage kids with the championship, not only in the Erin community, but also nationwide,” said Allison Burns, director, U.S. Women’s Open. “Congratulations to our creative and talented winners – we can’t wait to share their artwork on-site during championship week!”

The winners’ designs will be printed and distributed to juniors who attend the U.S. Women’s Open and will be available at a variety of special events leading up to championship week. In addition, winning designs will be uniquely featured on-site at Erin Hills.

The winners are as follows:

  • Harper Hammen, 11, of Oconomowoc, Wis.  - “I was inspired by photos my dad showed me of Erin Hills from a time when he played there. I really loved the caddy barn. I feel like it perfectly represents Erin Hills and Wisconsin scenery. I can’t wait to watch the 80th U.S. Women’s Open!”

  • Aviel Cornett, 11, of Winfield, Ill.  - “When I saw Hole 9, I imagined what it would be like to play it—wide, strong, and full of adventure. It would be so cool to walk this hole one day with someone like Nelly Korda and see it through her eyes.”

  • Madison Luedeman, 12, of Blaine, Minn. - "I got most of my inspiration from my Grandpa Adams who gave me the ideas for the silhouette in the front and Holy Hill in the background. I love golfing and I’ve heard that Erin Hills is known for having a great view of Holy Hill from the course so I wanted to include that in my drawing. I also thought it would be important to include the logo for this year’s Women’s Open and Erin Hills."

In its continued effort to support junior access to the game, the USGA will conduct several on-site activities at Erin Hills during championship week:

  • The Junior Experience featuring LPGA *USGA Girls Golf will be located in the USGA & Museum Experience in Fan Central and will include various activities such as arts & crafts, giveaways, putting and more!
  • A 9-Hole Scavenger Hunt will allow juniors to navigate the golf course and experience the championship in an engaging way while in search of clues that lead to a prize that can be redeemed at the merchandise tent.
  • A dedicated Junior Selfie-Zone to encourage engagement with the world’s best players after the completion of their rounds.

All youths age 17 and under receive complimentary admission to the championship with a ticket-holding adult. Tickets are available for purchase here

Considered the world’s premier women’s golf championship, the U.S. Women’s Open is one of 15 national championships conducted annually by the USGA. The championship was first conducted in 1946 and past winners include Babe Didrikson Zaharias, Betsy Rawls, Mickey Wright, Hollis Stacy, Amy Alcott, Meg Mallon, Annika Sorenstam, Se Ri Pak, Juli Inkster, Karrie Webb, Cristie Kerr, Paula Creamer, Inbee Park and Michelle Wie.
