S-17: Top 75 points leaders in the Rolex Women's Golf Rankings as of April 3
Ashok is still seeking her first LPGA Tour victory, but came very close in the 2023 JM Eagle LA Championship at Wilshire Country Club, losing in a playoff. This will be Ashok's fourth U.S. Women's Open appearance. All five of her professional victories have come on the Ladies European Tour, including the 2023 Magical Kenyan Open. The native of India won the 2015 British Ladies Amateur Stroke Play Championshp and then turned professional the following year. Her victory at the 2016 Hero Open made Ashok the first player from India to win on the LET. In 2017, she became the second player from her country to join the LPGA Tour, following Simi Mehra. Ashok was the youngest competitor in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, tying for 41st. She also competed in the rescheduled 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo, finishing just out of a medal in fourth. Ashok represented India in the 2012 and 2014 Women's World Amateur Team Championships.
