Qualifier: Shot 69-72 at Rainier Golf & Country Club in Seattle, Wash., on April 30

Bio

Cheng will make her fourth U.S Women's Open start after being added to the field as the first alternate from the Rainier Golf & Country Club qualifier held in Seattle, Wash. She had originally lost a 2-for-1 playoff for the final spot to Caroline Inglis after posting a 36-hole total of 3-under-par 141. Cheng owns six professional victories, three on the Ladies Asian Tour and two more on the Epson Tour. Her last triumph came in the 2022 Island Resort Championship on the Epson Tour. She turned professional in 2015 at the age of 18.
