S-17: Top 75 points leaders in the Rolex Rankings as of May 3, 2023
Salas’ lone victory to date came in the 2014 Kingsmill Championship by four strokes. Salas was born and raised in Azusa, Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles. She became the first member of her family to attend and graduate from college. She registered three wins at the University of Southern California and was the Pacific-10 Conference’s Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010. She was a four-time All-American for the Trojans. After turning pro in 2011, she competed on the Symetra Tour (now Epson Tour) before gaining her LPGA Tour card for the 2012 season. She has represented the USA on five Solheim Cup Teams. Her best major finish is solo second in the 2019 Women’s British Open at Woburn Golf Club and a share of second in the 2021 KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club. This will be her 14th U.S. Women's Open start.
